Here is a listing of many of the observances that are taking place on Memorial Day -- May 29, 2017 -- across the 28th Senate District.

Memorial Day Ceremony

Following the ceremony, American Legion Post 24 will serve free hot dogs at their headquarters located at 137 N. Ash Ave.

Cathedral City

The names of veterans interned in the cemetery will be read aloud.

Palm Springs

Memorial Day Flower Drop & Air Fair
May 29th -- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Memorial Day Service begins at 1 p.m.
Palm Springs Air Museum, 745 North Gene Autry Trail
Program includes Missing Man Formation and a flower drop of 3,000 carnations.

Temecula

Memorial Day Observance
May 29th – 8:30 a.m.
Temecula Duck Pond & Veterans Memorial, 28250 Ynez Road
Attendees are invited to bring items that remind them of their loved ones.
